How Accepted Academy Works

Once you register, you will get a secure login to the College Admissions Accepted Online Portal.  

Our Online Video Library provides students with everything they need to create an application that stands out.
 
Whether you're using the Common Application, Coalition Application or another college application, this program will give your teen all the tools they need to complete their applications.

Me as your partner. I am excited to walk alongside you on your journey. You will have constant communication from me. My goal is help your family walk through this process PLUS make the journey fun & less stressful.  

You are in the drivers seat. I provide all the necessary resources, guidance and lessons. You can follow my schedule or go at your own pace. You have access to everything in the program for an entire year, so you are in control. 

  When Are The Meetings?

What If My Teen Can't Make A Live Meeting?  No Worries, All Of The Trainings Are Recorded.
 

  • OnBoarding-  Each family will have a 30 min onboarding with an Accepted Academy team member.
  • Group Meetings: Each meeting will be 1-2 hours depending on the content and where we are in the process. Meetings will kick off Sunday Aug 7th.  All meetings will be held on Sunday's - 3 pm (PST), 4 pm (MST), 5 pm (CST), 6 pm (EST).  Meeting are weekly through Dec 15th then meeting move to monthly through May 1st. 
  • Office Hours:  Sept-Dec your student will be able to join me virtually for open office hours.  They will have the opportunity to get their specific questions answered and/or work on their applications.
  • ​Video Trainings:  In addition to the group training students will have access to a recorded video lesson with templates and resources  meeting.  This makes it easy for students to have everything they need to get their applications complete.

    Our schedule is so busy; what if we can't make it to the live event?
    Can’t make it to the live event or trainings? No worries! You will get access to all the same tools and resources. You and your teen can catch the replays at a time that works best for you.
    How long do I have access to the content? 
    Accepted Academy renews annually. You will have access to the Valedictorian program through  MAY 1, 2023. If you have younger teens who wish to move into Valedictorian you will need to re-purchase the program. 
    How do I know if Accepted Academy is worth the investment? 
    Great question! When coming into the program your teen is just months away from applying and submitting their applications. Sadly, many families miss out on getting into their dream college or getting scholarships because they "don’t know what they don’t know." Being part of the Accepted Academy, you will have all the knowledge you need at your fingertips. You will have tools that make sure your teen is on task and not missing deadlines or scholarship dollars. Also, don’t forget you have 7 days to make sure that the Accepted Academy community is right for you. 
    Can't I just Google all this and figure it out on my own? 
    Of course you can! There is a lot of information out there... and there is a lot of information out there. Do you feel confident that you will be getting the current and correct information for your situation? Also, there are only so many hours in the day to research the right major, how to create a perfect college list, essay samples, tools, resources to follow, etc. This process is overwhelming and much of the information found will be for the general student population. Accepted Academy is a system that is tailored to your teen. Plus don't forget that you will have be along side of you making sure your staying on task and getting it done. 
    I have multiples, Do I need to purchase a plan for each of my kids? 
    Having multiples is a blessing, but expensive. I have twin granddaughters so I get it. If you have twins... triplets..., etc., there is a 20% discount on the 2nd, 3rd, etc. child. The thing to remember is that each child's college journey  is different and they will each need their own access and coaching. Meaning that they will not share a plan but have access to their own individualized program. 
    What if we get stuck and need help, how do we get our questions answered? 
    During the live coaching, students will have the opportunity to ask questions and get personal coaching. If your teen is not able to attend they can pre-submit their questions and I will answer them during the call. I will also be in the private community answering questions as they come up. Additionally, as your teen is going through the lessons there is a place where to submit questions.
